Hi! I’m Annie May. Yes, that’s my actual name :)

I’ve been creating gluten free and allergen free recipes since 2009, and decided to start putting them all together for you in one place!

In 2010, I started a little bakery called Annie May’s Sweet Cafe, located in Louisville, KY. I had that shop for 13 years, and when the lease was up I decided not to renew. It was just so much overhead! I moved the bakery to a home-based bakery in Shelbyville, KY (it’s between Lexington and Louisville and right on the Bourbon Trail) and you can find me at farmer’s markets around Louisville. I’m much more relaxed now (maybe?).

I’m the second oldest of five kids, went to a performing arts high school for ballet, and I love watching Seinfeld. I have an orange cat named Shooter who is a complete maniac. In my spare time (yeah right) I like to garden, tap dance, do yoga, shoot arrows at my archery target, and hang with friends who make me laugh.
